Timer and sleep operation
The system turns on and plays the desired source (DVD, CD, MP3 disc, tuner) at the
preset time.

" Setting the timer
Before setting timer:
The timer setting indicator on the AV control unit will appear.
1 Set the AV control unit on time (page 24).
If it is not on time, you cannot use the timer function.
2 Prepare for playback and set the TV to the desired channel.
1 Turn the power on and press the TIMER but-
ton.
Set the AV control unit on time if "TIMER STANDBY"
does not appear.
2 Within 10 seconds, press the or button to
select "TIMER SET", and press the ENTER
button.
3 Press the or button to adjust the hour and
then press the ENTER button.
4 Press the or button to adjust the minutes and then press the
ENTER button.
The start time is set and the finish time (1 hour later) will be displayed automati-
cally.
5 Set the time to finish as in steps 3 and 4 above.
6 Switch input with the or button,
and then press the ENTER button.
When you select the tuner, select a station
by pressing the or button, and then
press the ENTER button.
7 Adjust the volume with the or button and press the ENTER but-
ton.
Settings are displayed in order and the AV control unit will enter the timer stand-
by mode.
