Previewing a Video DVD and a Photo
DVD
You can play back and check a video DVD and a photo DVD dubbed with the
DVDirect in the display window on the top of the unit.
Notes
• Sound cannot be heard when previewing the disc on the DVDirect.
• You cannot output video images to an external device, such as a TV.
• You cannot play back an AVCHD disc.
• You cannot play back discs recorded on a device other than the DVDirect, or a disc
recorded with commercial DVD.
1 Press the 1 (power) button to turn on the DVDirect.
2 Press the RETURN button to display the menu. Press M or m to
select “DVD Preview,” and then press the (select) button.
3 Insert a DVD created with the DVDirect.
After the disc is finished being read, its contents are displayed in the
display window.
When a finalized video DVD is inserted:
The video titles dubbed on the disc appear in the display window.
Press M m < , to select the title you want to view, and press the
(select) button. The selected title starts to play. To stop playback, press the
(stop) button.
