Connecting to an Audio System
There are two outputs that can be used to
connect to an external audio system:
analog and digital. If your audio system
supports S/PDIF digital audio, use the
digital output, as it will provide better
sound quality.
To connect to an audio system using
the digital (S/PDIF) output:
1. Use a digital coaxial cable to connect
the COAXIAL output on the player to
an S/PDIF audio input on the audio
system.
2. Select the appropriate Digital Out
setting under the Audio Setup menu
on the player (see “Configuring the
Player” on page 58).

To connect to an audio system using
the analog output:
1. Use two RCA cables to connect the
AUDIO OUT jacks on the rear of the
player to a stereo input on the audio
system.
