Switch on your DVD player and your TV set. Select the correct AV input on your TV, if necessary. You may
also turn on your HiFi system (properly connected to the player).

Resume memory
Auto power off
If you press the button STOP or
BB
(STANDBY), the player remembers
this point on the disc. The symbol "¨" blinks slowly in the players
display (page 10).
If you now press PLAY button, playback starts from this point.
To erase ‘resume memory’, press STOP button twice or unload the
disc (but do not a press the "
BB
" button).
Resume memory does not work with interactive discs (without play
time info).
If not used, the player will switch off automatically after 30 minutes.
1 Open the disc tray using OPEN/CLOSE button
on the set.
2 Place a single sided disc the label facing
upwards.
3 Start playback using PLAY button:
The disc is playing.
Some discs may show a menu to select:
Follow its on-screen help.
Choose a menu item using the , arrows.
Start playing using
ok
button.
According to the menu, exit the menu, if necessary, using
guide
or
menu
button.
To stop play and return to the menu screen:
- DVD: Press

4 Stop playback, press STOP button.
This location on the disc is memorized by the player, see below
'Resume memory'.
Press STOP twice
, to stop a disc without resume memory.
When " " appears on-screen, it indicates an invalid button
press.
