basic set-up
Please install your DVD player horizontally with enough space around for ventilation.
Protect the player against humidity, heat, cold and strong magnetic fields (i. e. speakers ...).
Do not stack components on top of the DVD player.
Connect all components before plugging any power cords in the wall outlet.
Always turn off the DVD player, TV and other components before you connect or disconnect any cables.
Insert all cables firmly into their jacks.
Be sure that colors of connectors and plugs match for the audio connection.

1 Switch on your TV set and your DVD player.
2 Press STOP button.

button.
You see the menu on the right.
If you do not see the menu, select the proper AV input of your
TV set manually (see the manual of your TV set).

Press the appropriate number button for your
language (example: button 1 for English).
Now English is the language for the menus of the player as well
as the language of menus, dialogues, and subtitles of DVDs (if
available). If you want to change languages, see page 22-23.
This choice applies to all DVDs. For temporarily changes of
dialogue and subtitle languages see page 19.

Now you can play discs.
But we recommend to proceed with the set-up on the pages 23-29:
