Press or to select TV RATING, then press or to enter the TV submenu. The
TV submenu opens.
TV ratings include:
• TV-Y—All children
• TV-Y7—7 years old and above
• TV-G—General audience
• TV-PG—Parental guidance suggested
• TV-14—14 years old and above
• TV-MA—17 years old and above
8 Press or to select the rating, then press or to select VIEW or BLOCK for
each rating. In some cases, there are content-based ratings which can also be set,
including:
• FV (fantasy violence)—applies to TV-Y7
• V (violence)—applies to TV-PG, TV-14, and TV-MA
• S (sex scenes)—applies to TV-PG, TV-14, and TV-MA
• L (adult language)—applies to TV-PG, TV-14, and TV-MA
• D (sexual dialog)—applies to TV-PG and TV-14
9 Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.
Setting up Canadian ratings
To set up Canadian ratings:
1 Press MENU. The MAIN MENU opens.
2 Press
or to select P.LOCK, then press or to enter the P. LOCK menu.
3 Enter the password. The P. LO CK menu opens.
