n Index Plus+ does not operate with tapes on which only audio is recorded or dubbed from a
CDV (compact disc video).
Contents of data stored in memory when pause is engaged during recording:
n The program number does not change even if pause is engaged during recording. If the
channel is changed after pause is instructed, the program number will change.
Directory when a new recording is made on a recorded tape:
n Example 1
If you record program D on the tape where programs A and B were recorded by this VCR for the
same duration of time as program A:
In other words, Program D will overwrite Program A (Program A is entirely erased).
n Example 2
If you record program D using this VCR on a tape on which programs A, B and C were recorded
by another VCR:
* Program C remains unerased, but BLANK is displayed.

Compatibility
The remote control is designed to be compatible with many televisions, but will not work with
every one made. If your TV does not respond the way it should when you program it as
explained below, this remote may be incapable of operating it.
Once you have programmed the remote, you won't have to do it again until you change the
batteries.
