Use this hookup for slightly improved picture quality and more convenient operation – use of

2. Plug in power cords of VCR, TV, and cable box.
You will tune the TV to its video input to watch the VCR.

n If your cable box has audio/video output jacks, you can also connect the audio/video output of
the cable box and the audio/video input of the VCR. With this connection, press the AVX button
to select L1 as the input channel for the VCR to receive audio/video signal from the cable box
(see page 44).
