B Setting US V-Chip ratings
First follow steps 1 and 2 on page 71, then go to the
following steps.
3 Access Set US TV Ratings screen
4 Set US TV Ratings
B Press [OK] to turn on or off the blocking fea-
ture.
•An item is blocked if an “X” mark appears
instead of a “-”.
•To block viewing of all contents of a rating,
move the cursor to the top row of that rating
column and insert an “X” mark. Once an
“X” mark has been placed on the top row,
every contents of that rating column are
automatically blocked.
•To change the setup, move the cursor to the
top column and change “X” to “-” by
pressing [OK] again. You may then select to
the individual categories to block.
•For brief definition on the individual ratings,
refer to ‘Rating Systems’ on page 74.
C Press [MENU] to exit when setup is com-
pleted.
C Setting movie (MPAA) ratings
First follow steps 1 and 2 on page 71, then go to the
following steps.
3 Access Set Movie Rating screen
4 Set Movie Ratings
•For brief definition on the individual ratings,
refer to ‘Rating Systems’ on page 74.
C Press [MENU] to exit when setup is com-
pleted.
