RS-232C External Control Description
Control of this unit is possible via a computer by connecting the computer to this unit with an RS-232C straight cable
(sold separately). The following is a list of commands required for the control. For details, please consult your
authorized dealer.
When sending a control command to this unit, insert a
comma after the DVP header (without spacing), followed
by specifying the command. The “#” shown in each
command code represents a parameter (numerical
value).
Example:To turn on the power of this unit
dvp, on [e Enter]
([e Enter] denotes carriage return)
●Upon sending the command to turn on the unit, do not
send the next command until this unit has started up (end
of initialization).
It is possible to send multiple commands at the same
time. To do so, specify the commands before the carriage
return and delimit each function command using a
comma.
Example : dvp, on, x, a2,srn4 [e Enter]
(Control command = header, power on, YCrCb
(component) input, 16:9, 1280 ן 720 scan rate
[carriage return])
Control this unit from a computer using the standard
Windows Hyper Terminal software. Set the computer as
follows and connect using a standard RS-232C straight
cable (D-sub 9 pin).
Communication speed : 19200 bps
Data bit : 8 bit
Parity : Nil
Stop bit : 1 bit
Flow Control : Nil
