Playback Operation
Playback
Select a program in the Program List then start playback. (Refer to
“Program List Setting, General Operation” on page 44 to see more
detailed information.)
The Progress Bar display will appear on the screen.

To play back a recorded program which is locked by a user, you must unlock
the program from the Lock System Menu (Refer to page 38).
Scan
1. Press FF or REW during playback.
The HD DVR will go into SCAN mode.
2. Press FF or REW repeatedly to select the required speed:
X2, X5, X20, X50, X300 (forward) or X2, X5, X20, X50, X300 (backward).
3. To exit SCAN mode, press PLAY/SLOW.

Pressing and holding the button (FF or REW), increases the speed as
indicated above.
Still Picture and Frame-by-Frame Advance
1. Press PAUSE during playback.
The HD DVR will go into PAUSE mode and display still picture.
2. You can advance the picture frame-by-frame by pressing
PAUSE/STEP repeatedly on the remote control.
3. To exit PAUSE mode, press PLAY/SLOW.
Slow Motion
1. Press PLAY/SLOW during playback.
The player will go into SLOW mode.
2. To exit SLOW mode, press PLAY/SLOW.
Jump to Start
Press START during playback. Then program playback begins from the
very start.
Jump to End
Press END during playback. Then the playback jumps to the very end
of the recorded program.
Repeat
1. Press REPEAT at the beginning point during playback.
“X’’ appears on the Progress Bar display to indicate the start position.
2. Press REPEAT at another point during playback.
To indicate the stop position, “X’’ appears on the Progress Bar display.
3. To cancel the sequence, press REPEAT or END.
Stop
Press STOP during playback to return to the current broadcast.
