audioavailablebyconvertinganalogaudiotoa
digitaloutput.
• DigitalSurroundSound:UseSetup2.
Adevicecansenddigitalsurroundsoundsuchas
DolbyDigitalorDTSdirectlytotheA/Vreceiver,
bypassingtheTVentirely.Thedevicemightbe
aDVDplayer,cablebox,orsatellitereceiver,and
couldhaveHDMIoutput.ADVDplayerisusedin
thisexample.
Yoursetupmayincludeadditionaldeviceswith
digitalsurroundsoundconnecteddirectlytothe
A/Vreceiver.ThesedevicesmightbeaDVDplayer
plusacableboxorsatellitereceiver.

To hear audio sent from the TV to the A/V receiver,
you must have:

physically connected the TV to the A/V receiver
•
selected the A/V receiver for audio.
Press
AUDIO, then to show the Speakers option, then
to select the A/V Receiver.
