TIMER
Timer I and Timer 2
The STB contains two timers that are capable of turning the STB on and off at
selected times, on selected channels and on selected days. You can also set your
STB to simultaneously turn your D-VHS VCR on to recording mode.
Timer Set up
[3 In TIMER Menu, press the • and • arrows to select either TIMER 1 or TIMER 2.
Note: TIME must be entered in CLOCK tooperate TIMER features.
O Press the • arrow twice to move to the day field.
Usethe • and • arrowsto selecttheday.
O Press the ACTION button to move to the first time field (start time).
Usethe• and• arrowsto selectthe hour.
[3 Press the • arrow to move to the minutes.
Usethe• and • arrowstoselecttheminutes.
[3 Press the ACTION button to move to the second time field (stop time).
Usethe • and • arrowsto selectthehour.
O Press the • arrow to move to the minutes.
Usethe • and • arrows toselecttheminutes.
O Press the ACTION button.
[3 Press the • arrow to move to the channel field.
Usethe • and • arrowstoselectthechannel.
[3 Press the ACTION button.
[3 Press the • arrow once, then the • arrow once.
[3 Press the • and • arrows to select the mode.
OFF - Disablesthetimer.
VIEW - TurnsonSTB only. (MustturnTV ontoviewtheevent).
RECORD -TurnsonSTBand startsD-VHS VCR recordingmode.
Note: All data fields must be entered prior to selecting a mode.

Note: Times cannot overlap between the timers. The first entered timer (either Timer 1 or
Timer 2) will override the second entered timer.
