Storing settings for often viewed DVDs (condition memory)
The condition memory function can be used to store the various settings on the
DVD.
Hint:
• Once the settings are stored, they remain
in the memory no matter how many times
the disc is played.
• When you set the condition memory for a
16th disc, the oldest settings in the
memory (the first ones stored) are
overwritten.
• When any of the stored settings are
changed, play the disc and press the
CONDITION MEMORY button.
• For some discs the audio language and
other settings may switch automatically.
During playback, press the
CONDITION MEMORY button.
“Condition Memory” appears on the
display.
The following six settings can be stored
in the memory:
• Subtitle language (page 63)
• Audio language (page 64)
• On-screen display position (page 71)
• Picture quality (page 71)
• Multi-angle (page 104)
• Parental lock (page 106)
Hint:
Once the settings are stored, they remain in
the memory even when the power is
turned off or the disc is removed. The
condition memory can be set for up to 15
DVDs.
When a disc for which the condition
memory is set is loaded
“Condition Memory” appears on the
display and the stored settings are set
automatically.
To clear the condition memory
Load a disc for which the condition
memory is set and press the CLEAR
button while “Condition Memory” is
displayed. “Condition Memory” turns
off and the condition memory is cleared.
