Remote Control Unit and Main Unit Preparations
Remote control unit operating range
The remote control unit will operate
within a distance of approximately 4
meters.
Note:
Most of the player’s operations can be
performed from the remote control unit.
Some operations, however, can only be
performed from the main unit.
Removing the player’s shipping spacer
Remove the shipping spacer before turning on the player’s power.

For the PDV-LC10, gently lift
the liquid crystal display in the
direction of the arrow.

Slide the OPEN switch to the
# side and open the lid.
The lid pops slightly open.

Lift the lid to open it.

Gently remove the shipping
spacer.
Note:
Be sure to slide the OPEN switch to open
the lid. Forcing the lid open may damage
the player. Also, do not force the lid beyond
the fully opened position. Doing so may
damage it.
