Playing in random order (random play) - DVDs, video CDs and CDs
Use the procedure described below to play titles or chapters on DVDs or tracks
on video CDs and CDs in random order.
DVD
Playing chapters in random order
During playback, press the
RANDOM button once, then
press the ENTER button.
“Random Chapter” appears on the display
and the chapters within the title are played
in random order.
Playing titles in random order
During playback, press the
RANDOM button twice, then
press the ENTER button.
“Random Title” appears on the display and
the titles are played in random order.
Playing tracks in random order
During playback, press the
RANDOM button.
“Random” appears on the display and the
tracks are played in random order.
Video CD CD
Stopping random playback
Press the CLEAR button.
Normal playback resumes and the chapters
or tracks following the current chapter or
track are played in order.
DVD
Hint:
• When the NEXT button is pressed, the
player selects the next chapter or track
and that chapter or track is played.
• When the PREVIOUS button is pressed,
playback returns to the beginning of the
currently playing chapter or track.
