RR-1050
Att programmera en Enhets/Ingångs-knapp
eller EXT-knappen som skall välja en
ingångskälla för den enhet som skall styras:
1. Tryck på LEARN-knappen
på RR-1050. LEARN-
indikatorn blinkar nu i displayen.
2. Tryck och håll ned den Enhets/Ingångs-knapp på
RR-1050 vars kommando-koder skall programmeras
tills LEARN-indikatorn slutar blinka. Benämningen på
den valda knappen visas i displayen.
3. Tryck och håll ned motsvarande knapp på den
sändande fjärrkontrollen (original fjärrkontrollen) tills
texten ”OK!” visas i displayen som bekräftar att
kommandot har lärts upp.
Upprepa Steg 2 och 3 för varje Enhets/Ingångs-knapp
som du vill programmera.
OBS! AUD-knappen kan inte programmeras för val av
ingångskälla.
Meddelanden då man programmerar RR-1050:
Om displayen visar ”ERROR”, lyckades inte
programmeringen. Försök igen.
Om displayen visar ”NO DATA”, togs det inte emot
någon IR-signal från den sändande fjärrkontrollen. Justera
placeringen av de båda fjärrkontrollerna och försök igen.
RR-1050 lämnar programmeringsläget när en knapp inte
tryckts på 15 sekunder.
Upplärning av knapp för multi-funktion
De fem knapparna SCAN, PTY, P-TUN, TP och TA har
en speciell egenskap. De läras upp till att innehålla upp till
tre olika kommandon på enda knapp. Vid första
tryckningen på knappen skickas det första kommandot,
det andra kommandot skickas vid andra tryckningen och
det tredje kommandot skickas vid tredje tryckningen.
För att programmera en multifunktions-knapp t.ex. SCAN-
knappen :
1. Följ de fyra stegen i avsnittet ”Att programmera en
Kommando-knapp” som beskrivits tidigare för att
programmera det första kommandot för SCAN-
knappen.
2. Tryck på SCAN-knappen en andra gång. ”S1-2”
visas nu i displayen. Tryck och håll ned nästa knapp
på originalfjärrkontrollen tills ”OK!” visas i displayen.
Secondary Command Buttons
Under the sliding cover is a group of oval buttons which
provide secondary command functions. The function of
these buttons varies depending on the device selected with
the DEVICE/INPUT buttons. See the “Label Sets” illustra-
tion.
Multi-Step Buttons
In addition to normal functions, the five buttons labeled
SCAN, PTY, P-TUN, TP and TA provide a special option –
learning up to three commands on a single button. The
first command is sent when the button is pressed once,
the second command is sent the next time the button is
pressed, and the third command is sent the third time the
button is pressed.
Special Buttons
Three rectangular buttons behind the sliding cover are
used for programming the RR-1050 and for other special
features such as the KEY TONE feature.
Configuration Buttons
Four recessed buttons behind the sliding cover are used
in configuring the unit. These buttons are recessed to pre-
vent pressing them accidentally. Use the tip of a ballpoint
pen to press them.
Operating the RR-1050
This section of the manual explains the basic operation of
the RR-1050 and most of its standard features.
NOTE: The AUD DEVICE/INPUT button of the RR-1050
is pre-programmed with control codes for Rotel
audio/video receivers or surround sound processors. The
V1 button is pre-programmed to operate Rotel DVD play-
ers. The other DEVICE/INPUT buttons (CD, TUN, TAPE
and V2 - V5) are unprogrammed. You must use the
LEARNING function to program control codes for these
DEVICE/INPUT buttons.
Sending IR Commands
Instead of putting down one remote and picking up an-
other, you simply press a button on the RR-1050 to con-
vert it from the remote control for your CD player to the
remote control for your TV set. Here’s how:
1. Press a DEVICE/INPUT button
to activate the com-
mand set for the desired component. For example,
press the AUD button for a Rotel audio/video receiver
or surround sound processor. The label for your se-
lection appears in the display. The selected command
set remains active until you press a different DEVICE
button.
