When you connect another VCR to the LANC jack,
press this button so that you can control the other
VCR.

When you connect another VCR to the LANC jack,
press this button so that you can control this VCR.
0 Shuttle ring (25)
During playback or pause, use this ring to play back
the picture at various speeds. Select the speed you
want from among 1/5 (slow), 1, ×2, 10 and 15 (18 for
DSR-30P.)
!¡ Jog dial (25)
During pause, use this dial to play back or search the
picture at various speeds. The playback speed
changes according to the speed you turn the dial at.

Detaching the control panel
1 Press OPERATION PANEL OPEN/CLOSE on the
front panel.
2 While pressing the buttons on both sides of the panel,
slightly lift up and slide forward the panel.
Attaching the operation panel
1 Push in the cord into the inner part of the panel tray.
2 Set the panel into the attachment grooves, and push
down until the panel clicks.
3 Press OPERATION PANEL OPEN/CLOSE.
