IR Blaster Setup
If Audio is selected as the device type, the volume option is active.
However if another device (other than Audio) is selected, then this
option is not available and grayed out.
10 After setting up all the options for the device, it is important to
test the IR Blaster’s control of the device by using the Test
option.
11 Once you have selected all the appropriate information on the
screen, use the ( / arrow) buttons to select the Done button.
To cancel this screen and return to the previous screen, select
the Cancel button.
To test the IR Blaster’s control of the device:
1 Use the ( / arrow) buttons to select the Test option from the
IR Blaster Setup screen.
The TV will then send the power on and power off command to
the device through the IR Blaster with approximately a 5
second interval.
2 A message screen will appear asking you “Was your device
powered on and off by the IR Blaster? If not, please check your
device and IR blaster position.” If the test failed, a “Test
Failed” message will appear on the screen.
To set up the timing control for your device:
1 Use the ( / arrow) buttons to select Timing Control. A
screen will appear allowing you to set up the Interval Time for
the device.
The Timing Control is activated when the Guide Control is set for the
TV.
2 Use the ( / arrow) buttons to select from the following
options:
❖ 0.125 sec
❖ 0.25 sec (this is the default)
❖ 0.375 sec
❖ 0.5 sec
❖ 0.625
❖ 0.75
❖ 0.875
