3 Press ENTER. The Enter Password screen opens.
4 Press the number buttons to enter the four-digit
password. The Parental Controls menu opens.
5 Press or to highlight RRT Setting, then press
ENTER.
If the program is broadcast with RTT rating
information, the information is downloaded
automatically and can be used for parental controls.
6 To reset the RTT information to the factory default,
press
or to highlight Reset RTT, then press
ENTER. A box opens. Follow the on-screen
instructions.
7 Press EXIT to close the menu.
Using closed captioning
Closed captioning displays a text version of the TV
program audio or displays information provided by the
broadcaster.
Turning closed captioning on or off
To turn closed captioning on or off:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with the
Picture menu displayed.
2 Press or to highlight Settings, then press . The
Settings menu opens.
3 Press or to highlight Closed Caption, then
press ENTER. The Settings-Closed Caption menu
opens.
4 Press or to highlight CC Mode.
5 Press or to select CC Off (turns off closed
captioning), CC On (turns on closed captioning), or
CC On When Mute (turns on closed captioning
when the sound is muted).
6 Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or press
EXIT to close the menu.
Selecting the analog closed captioning
mode
To select the closed captioning mode:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with the
Picture menu displayed.
Note
You can also press CCD to turn closed captioning on
or off.
