Editing Operations on the REMOTE CONTROL (9PIN MASTER/DV MASTER) Screen
Contents of the REMOTE CONTROL (9PIN MASTER/DV MASTER) screen
If the REMOTE SELECT item of the REMOTE MENU screen is set to 9PIN (MASTER), the REMOTE CONTROL (9PIN MASTER)
screen is displayed on the monitor, if set to DV (MASTER) the REMOTE CONTROL (DV MASTER) screen is displayed. The
contents displayed on both screens are the same.
Event registration column
No., IN, OUT, ACTION, MENU constitute 1 event on 1 line. This machine can register up to 99 events.
The registered event list is stored on the EDL MANAGER screen on this machine. (☞ Page 69.)
No. : Displays title and chapter number. Depending upon the event automatically calculated numbers are applied.
IN : Displays the time code (hour: minute: second: frame) of the IN point (edit start point). If no OUT point is registered
for the event it is registered as a chapter point.
OUT : Displays the time code (hour: minute: second: frame) of the OUT point (edit end point). It cannot be registered
before the IN point. Also, only a number larger than the IN point can be registered. If an OUT point is registered it
is necessary to set the ACTION item on the right.
ACTION : Set the operation of this machine at the edit finish point.
STOP : Automatically closes a title in the chapter pattern selected in the MENU item on the right.
PAUSE : This machine enters the recording pause mode, waiting to record the next event.
If the final event is set to PAUSE, after recording of the final event is completed it automatically stops. When the
EDIT MENU item of the SYSTEM menu screen is set to ENABLE, at this time the thumbnail edit screen is displayed.
CHAPTER
: When an IN point only is registered it is registered as a chapter and displayed in this screen.
MENU : This is for specifying the automatically created chapter pattern when the ACTION item is set to STOP. When set to
“00”, the pattern is the pattern set in the CHAPTER PATTERN item of the PRESET STYLE menu screen. If a non-
existent number is specified, it is set to “00”. This item is ineffective when the DVD MENU TYPE item of the
RECORDER MENU (2/2) screen is set to TOP or NONE.
