Setting for using an external front
speaker and subwoofer, and
using the TV speaker as the
centre speaker
TV SPEAKER: CENTRE
SUBWOOFER: EXT.
LEVEL: Adjust the volume.
VOLUME (LEFT/CENTRE/RIGHT/
SUBWOOFER): Adjust the balance of the
speakers.
Hint:
When only using an external front speaker
which is large enough for the bass sound, and
also emitting the bass sound from the front
speaker, set SUBWOOFER to OFF. If set to
anything else, the bass sound is not emitted
from the external front speaker.
Also, when using a front speaker and
subwoofer from the same amplifier, set the
SUBWOOFER to OFF.
DOLBY SURROUND setting
Correctly set the items in the sub-menu of the
DOLBY SURROUND function, and use the
test signal to control the volume level of the
speakers so that you can listen to the sounds
from them uniformly. Be sure to perform this
operation before using the DOLBY
DIGITAL/PRO LOGIC function.

TV SPEAKER:
L/C/R:
Choose when using the TV speaker.
CENTRE:
Choose when using external front L/R
speakers and using the TV speaker as
the centre speaker.
OFF:
Choose when using an external front
speaker. Sound does not come from
the TV speaker.
• The 3D-PHONIC TV SPEAKER and
SOUND SETTING menu SPEAKER
settings are changed when the TV
SPEAKER setting is changed.
