5.2 REC SETTING
This page allows you to set the recording rate and recording quality, and enables you to continue recording
when the disk is full.
MAX REC RATE:
This option is used for limiting the number of pictures recorded every second into a storage disk.
The recording rate controls the maximum of the frequency at which the number of video pictures
can be recorded.
There are 4 different recording rates you can select from: UNLIMIT, 30F/S, 20F/S, and 10F/S.
NOTE: The maximum of pictures is averagely shared among all channels.
BANDWIDTH:
This option determines the bandwidth to be recorded. There are seven levels of bandwidth you
can select from: 50K, 100K, 200K, 300K, 400K, 500K,and UNLIMIT. Selecting the UNLIMIT for
use provides bandwidth unlimited for each channel recorded images, and normally records more
images than a 50K, 100K, 200K, 300K, 400K and 500K. To regulate bandwidth, you can use the
“^” button
and the “v” button to select any of the seven levels of bandwidth provided here,
ranging from the "UNLIMIT" to the "50K". If you select any of these levels, all your channels will
convert to that level. If, however, you wish to set individual channels in different levels of
bandwidth, please got to “SET” for this function. After set individual channels in different modes
and then push the Enter button
. At once the legends "OK" and "CANCEL" appear at the
bottom of the page. Now press the “<” button
and the “>” button to confirm either "OK" or
"CANCEL" respectively. Press "OK" to ratify your choice(s). If not, press "CANCEL".
DISK FULL:
This option determines the way to utilize storage media in case of a full disk.
REWRITE: When the hard-disk is full, the device continues recording by displacing the old data.
STOP: When the hard-disk is full, the device will stop recording.
