CHANNEL:
Specify the bandwidth that the wireless radio operates in. The NVR and wireless LANCAMs are
associated with operations in one of the frequency channels.
NOTE: The standard norms of channel numbers and frequency ranges differ from country
to country. When setting a channel, you must avoid interference from other wireless
devices. Then you can install other channels as well.
PRIVACY:
This option is used to configure the privacy settings.
ENCRYPTION:
The encryption setting sets the web encryption mechauism.
DISABLE: This deactivates the encryption function.
WEP64: This enables the short secret code to activate encryption.
WEP128: This enables the long secret code to activate encryption.
DEFAULT KEY:
This option selects one of the WEP keys provided. There are 4 levels of WEP key to choose from:
KEY 1, KEY 2, KEY 3 and KEY 4.
WEP KEY 1 … WEP KEY 4:
If ENCRYPTION is set to “DISABLE”, the user cannot change the WEP KEY 1 … WEP KEY 4. If
ENCRYPTION is set to “WEP64”, the web key can be set to a 10-hex (0-9, A-F) number. If
ENCRYPTION is set to “WEP128”, the web key can be set to a 26-hex number.
