Channel search
The Channel search procedure can be carried out in five different ways.
The menu will look different depending on what option you selected in the
“Antenna/satellite selection” menu.
If you selected “One antenna/one LNB configuration”, select “Automatic”,
“Manual” or “Advanced Manual” search, or “Use predefined channels”.
If you selected “Multisatellite/DiSEqC switch configuration” or “Motor an-
tenna configuration” you also indicate which satellite you wish to search from,
using the cursor left/cursor right button.
Automatic search/Automatic search for free channels
If you selected “One antenna/one LNB configuration” or “Multisatellite/
DiSEqC switch configuration”:
•Press select to start searching for channels.
If you selected “Motor antenna configuration”:
• Select a predefined channel and then adjust the motor (if necessary) us-
ing the cursor left/cursor right button.
•Press select to start searching for channels.
Manual search
The information that must be entered in this menu is available in satellite TV
magazines or on the Internet.
Transponder frequency: Specify the frequency in MHz using the numeric
buttons. If you enter the wrong value, erase using cursor left.
Polarisation: Select Horizontal, Vertical, Circular left or Circular right.
Symbol rate: Enter using the numeric buttons. If you enter the wrong value,
erase using cursor left.
Network search: Select “Yes” if you want to search all transponders that are
connected to a specific network.
Adjust motor: This alternative is only visible if you have set the motor an-
tenna configuration. If necessary, adjust the motor for the current satellite.
•Press select to start searching for channels.
Video, Audio and PCR PID
These alternatives are only available if you are searching from a user-defined
satellite. By entering these values you can see a TV picture on the screen
which may help you to adjust the dish.
Remove limits
If you need to remove the limits.
When you activate this command, the motor will turn itself to the 0° (Zero) posi-
tion.
However, the next time you select a channel, the motor will turn to its proper
position.
First time installation
