WinDVD 3.0 installation

Insert the supplied CD-ROM (VFF0128 or VFF0129) into the DVD-RAM/R drive.
The installation program starts automatically.
•
If the installation program does not start automatically, start it manually by following the pro-
cedure below.
(This assumes that the drive letter assigned to the DVD-RAM/R drive for CD-ROM media is E:.)
From the Start menu select [Run].
In the “Open” box, enter “e:\setup.exe”.
Click [OK].
The installation program starts.
2 Click [WinDVD DVD Video
Playback software].
•
The installer for WinDVD starts.
•
Follow the on-screen instructions to
proceed.
3 Enter your name, company, and serial num-
ber (attached to the CD-ROM case).
•
Be careful to distinguish between O (the letter) and 0 (the
number) when entering the serial number.
Click [Next].
•
Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.
4 If the following display appears,
click [Next].

You can use WinDVD.
Note:
In Windows 2000, login under a user name assigned to the administrator group when installing.
(A) in case of VFF0128 (B) in case of VFF0129
4 If the following display appears,
select “Microsoft DirectX8” and
click [Next].

Follow the on-screen instructions, so
you can use WinDVD after rebooting.
