7 Press or to select [On] to display
subtitles always or [On during mute] to
display subtitles only when the sound is
muted with the
key on the remote
control.
8 Press OK to return to the [Features]
menu.
Note
You must repeat this procedure to enable subtitles on
each analogue channel.
Enable subtitles on digital TV channels
1 Press MENU on the remote control
and select [TV menu] > [Features] >
[Subtitle] .
2 Press to enter the list.

To set parental ratings
Some digital broadcasters rate their
programmes according to age. You can set your
TV to display only programmes with age ratings
higher than your child’s.
1 In the [Child lock] menu, select [Custom
lock] .
2 Press to enter.
3 Press or to select [Parental rating] .
4 Press .
5 Press or to select an age rating.
6 Press MENU to exit the [Child lock]
menu.
Use subtitles
You can enable subtitles for each TV channel.
Subtitles are broadcast via teletext or DVB-
T digital broadcasts. With digital broadcasts,
you have the additional option of selecting a
preferred subtitle language.
Enable subtitles on analogue TV
channels
1 Select an analogue TV channel.
2 Press Teletext on the remote control.
3 Enter the three- digit page number of the
subtitle page.
4 Press Teletext to switch off teletext.
5 Press MENU on the remote control
and select [TV menu] > [Features] >
[Subtitle] .
6 Press to enter the list.
