1 Functiondisplay
Shows the function names.
% Touch A.MENU and then touch
FUNCTION to display the function names.
The function names are displayed and oper-
able ones are highlighted.
# When A.MENU is not displayed,you can dis-
play it by touching the screen.
# You can also display MENU by clickingthe
joystick.
# To go tothe next group of function names,
touch NEXT.
# To return to theprevious group of function
names, touch PREV.
# To return to theprevious display, touch BACK.
# To return to theplayback display, touch ESC.
Note
If you do not operate the function withinabout 30
seconds, the display is automatically returned to
the playback display.
Repeating play
There are two repeat play ranges for the Video
CD playback: TRACK (track repeat) and DISC
(disc repeat).
! During playback of Video CDs featuring
PBC (playback control), this function can-
not be operated.
1 Touch A.MENU and FUNCTION and then
touch REPEAT.
2 Touch either of the following touch
panel keys to select the repeat range.
! TRACK Repeat just thecurrent track
! DISC Repeat the currentdisc
Note
If you perform track search or fast forward/re-
verse, the repeat play range changesto DISC.
Pausing Video CD playback
Pause lets you temporarily stop disc playback.
% Touch f during playback.
The icon e is displayed and playback is
paused, letting you view a still image.
# To resume playback at the same point thatyou
turned pause on, touchf again.
Notes
! You can also turn pause function on oroff
using PAUSE. To display PAUSE, touch
A.MENU and then touch FUNCTION.
! Depending on the disc and theplayback loca-
tion on the disc, the icon
may be displayed,
indicating that still playback is notpossi-
ble.
Frame-by-frame playback
This lets you move ahead one frame at a time
during playback.
