Only when using this unit with ADD-ON
mode (M), you can per form the following
operations by this unit.
You can use this unit to control a TV tuner,
which is sold separately.
For details concerning operation, refer to the
TV tuners operation manuals. This section
provides information on TVoperations with
this unit which differs from that described in
the TV tuners operation manual.
1 Sourceicon
Shows which source has been selected.
2 Bandindicator
Shows which band the TV tuner is tuned to.
3 Presetnumber indicator
Shows which preset has been selected.
4 Channelindicator
Shows which channel the TV tuner is tuned.
5 Presetlist display
Shows the preset list.
1 Touch the source icon and then touch
TV to select the TV.
# When the source icon is notdisplayed, you
can display it by touching thescreen.
2 Touch the screen to display the touch
panel keys.
3 Touch BAND to select a band.
Touch BAND repeatedly until the desired band
is displayed, TV1 or TV2.
4 To perform manual tuning, briefly
touch c or d.
The channels move up or down step by step.
# You can also perform manual tuning by mov-
ing the joystick left or right.
5 To perform seek tuning, keep touching
c or d for about one second and release.
The tuner will scan the channels until a broad-
cast strong enough for good reception is
found.
# You can cancel seek tuning by brieflytouching
either c or d.
# If you keep touching c or d youcan skip
broadcasting channels. Seek tuningstarts as
soon as you release the keys.
# You can also perform seek tuning by holding
the joystick left or right.
Note
If you do not use the touch panelkeys within 30
seconds, they will be hiddenautomatically.
