Skip the Periodical Timer Recording
You can deactivate the periodical (Daily, Mon-Fri or
Weekly) timer recording temporarily.
1 In stop mode, press [TIMER PROG.].
2 Select the periodical timer recording
programme you want to skip using
[U \ D], then press [ENTER].
3 Select “Programme Change” using
[U \ D], then press [ENTER].
4 Move the cursor to the “Skip” field
using [L \ P], then select “ON” using
[U \ D] and then press [ENTER] to
activate the setting.
• “✔” will be displayed on the left side of the timer
programme.
• The setting will go back to “OFF” after the
programme is skipped once.
Stop the Timer Recording in Progress
On the front panel of the unit, press
[C STOP] to stop the recording, or
press and hold [STOP C] on the remote
control for 2 seconds.
• You can also stop the timer recording in progress by
deleting the timer programme. Press
[TIMER PROG.] while the timer recording is in
progress, then follow steps
2-A) and 3 of the
“Checking, Cancelling or Correcting the Timer
Programming Information” on page 34.
If the Timer Programming Did Not
Complete Correctly
The error number appears on “Timer Programming”
list.
The error programme will be displayed in grey
with an error number.
The error numbers indicate:
• Timer programme with an error number will be
cleared once the entry screen for the
programme is displayed.

E46 : It is impossible to record additionally
on a disc recorded by other units
when setting “Make Recording
Compatible” to “OFF”. (+VR mode)
E47 : Already 600 titles recorded on the
HDD.
E49–E50 : HDD recording is cancelled due to the
insufficiency of the disc space on the
HDD.
