In the next pages each meter function, as well as any measurement feature, will be
described with a simultaneous reference to both the TFT display and the LCD one. The left
pages refer to the TFT [G] screen, the right ones refer to the LCD [F] screen.
Tune the desired channel. If the desired QAM channels have already been added to a user-
defined memory plan, proceed as described in Chapter 9 SIGNAL TUNING: PLAN at page
19.

:
The LCD [F] will display (left to right):
x On the first row, the currently used memory plan, the tuned channel ID and the
relevant frequency value;
x On the third row, the modulation type (QAM) and the Symbol Rate (SR);
x On the fourth ROW, the RF power feed status.
On the bottom part of the display the channel power measurement, together with the
relevant measurement unit will be displayed. The channel power real time value is also
displayed on a level bar with peak level memory.
WHILE PERFORMING SUCH MEASUREMENTS, THE LOCK DISPLAYED AT BOTTOM
RIGHT SIDE OF THE SCREEN WILL BE OPEN. THIS IS BECAUSE THE METER
EXPLORES THE WHOLE CHANNEL BAND IN ORDER TO DETECT THE TRUE
CHANNEL POWER.
