9This unit’s remote control can operate the
basic functions of your TV.

PREPARATION:
0 Switch TV/DVD on the remote control to TV.
A While pressing SET UP, enter the
code number using the Number
Keys, then press ENTER.
(Example) For JVC 23
0 Release SET UP after this.
B Press STANDBY/ON.
0 If the TV is not on, repeat from step A again. For
brands with more than one code, try entering
another number.
0 If the remote control’s batteries are removed, the
brand code will revert to 01 (JVC). Re-perform
the setting.

0 Depending on the TV, some TVs may not be operable
using this unit’s remote control.
Using Multiple JVC Recorders
9With more than 2 devices, there may be
remote control interference.

B Press STANDBY/ON on the unit to
turn off the unit.
C Press PLAY ( I) on this unit for more
than 5 seconds.
0 The code number currently set will be displayed
on the front display panel.
0 If Setup Menu ADIMMER (DURING POWER
OFF)B is set to AOFFB, the front display panel will
be off. In this case, set this setting to AONB in
advance. [ P102] d
D Press STOP/CLEAR on the remote
control.
0 The new code number will blink on the front
display panel for 5 seconds.
