Outputs a tape end signal from the rear panels [TAPE END OUT] terminal
when the tape reaches the set tape reel counter value during recording.
During series recording, a series recording signal is output to a connected
VCR for continuous recording.
OFF: The counter end output function is disabled.
500 : A tape end signal is output when the set tape reel counter value is
reached during recording. A buzzer sounds when the menu switch
<END BUZ> on the <BUZZER/IN OUT> is set to ON.
For more information on the relationship between the tape reel
counter value and the tape remaining time, refer to page 64.

Selects the alarm recording or sensor recording function.
Alarm recording: When an alarm signal is input to the rear panels
[ALARM IN] terminal during recording, the mode switches to the 2H (SP)
or 6H (EP) recording mode for realtime recording of the alarm event.
Sensor recording: When an alarm signal is input to the rear panels
[ALARM IN] terminal in the Stop mode (Stop mode, Timer Recording
Standby or Operating Off mode), recording starts in the 2H (SP) or 6H
(EP) mode.
OFF: Alarm or sensor recording is not executed.
ALARM: Alarm recording is executed.
SENSOR: Sensor recording is executed.
ALL: Both alarm and sensor recording are executed.

Selects series recording or automatic recording with an external VCR activation
signal.
OFF: The series recording and automatic recording with an external
signal functions are disabled.
SERIES:The series recording function is enabled.
EXT: The automatic recording function with an external signal is enabled.
* When the menu switch <REPEAT REC> is set to ON, externally
activated recording is not executed.

Selects the mode engaged when externally activated automatic
recording ends.
NORMAL: The Stop mode is engaged.
OPE OFF: The Stop mode is engaged and the operating power mode
is turned off.

VTR MODE
Enables or disables the repeat recording function.
OFF: The repeat recording function is disabled.
ON: When the tape ends, it is automatically rewound and recording
starts again from the beginning. When set to ON, the [REPEAT]
indication on the VCRs display lights.
* If the menu switch <TAPE END MODE> on the <ALARM/SENSOR
MODE> screen is set to STOP, the Stop mode is engaged when
the tape ends even when there is an alarm or sensor recording. The
repeat recording is not executed.
* When this menu switch is set to ON, externally activated recording
is not executed.
VIDEO MODE V. PULSE [OFF]

Sets whether or not the V. pulse is added during ordinary playback
(2H and 6H modes).
OFF: V. pulse is not added. Normally set to this position.
ON: V. pulse is added.
When a camera synchronized with the power supply is switched with
a switcher, the picture may be distorted at the switching point. In
this case, set this switch to ON. This locks the monitor, preventing
the picture distortion at switching points (only in the 2/6H mode).
V. pulse is always added in the Still mode and Timelapse mode.
Enables or disables the repeat playback function.
OFF: The repeat playback function is disabled.
ON: When the tape ends, it is automatically rewound and played back
again from the beginning.

Enables or disables automatic external timer recording or automatic
restart of recording after a power failure.
OFF: External timer recording or automatic recording after power
failure does not function regardless of whether power is supplied
or not.
ON: Recording starts automatically when power is turned on.

Sets whether or not Recording Check is automatically performed at the
beginning of a tape in the Repeat Recording mode.
OFF: Automatic recording check function is disabled.
ON: Automatic recording check function is enabled.
Sets whether or not the counter memory function is activated.
OFF: The counter memory function is not activated.
ON: The counter memory function is activated.
When the tape reel counter value reaches 0000 in the FF/REW
mode, the VCR enters the Stop mode automatically.
* The counter memory function is not available during repeat recording/
playback, auto REW, alarm search, alarm scan and date/time search.

Sets whether or not the tape is rewound automatically when the tape
ends.
OFF: The tape stops at the end.
ON: The tape automatically rewinds and enters the Stop mode (auto
REW).
* When the repeat recording/playback function is set to ON, the
repeat function has priority.
* If the menu switch <TAPE END MODE> on the <ALARM/SENSOR
MODE> screen is set to STOP, the Stop mode is engaged when
the tape ends even when there is an alarm or sensor recording. The
tape does not rewind.

VTR MODE
Sets the mode during timelapse recording.
OFF: Records in the normal timelapse mode (timelapse recording with
the SP heads).
ON: Records in the HDR timelapse mode (timelapse recording with
the EP heads). Refer to page 28.
