The unit stops playback.
If you press 0 OPEN/CLOSE during playback, the unit stops playback and opens the disc tray carousel.
Press 8.
The unit pauses playback. To resume playback, press 3.
You can open the disc tray carousel during playback and change discs that are not being played back.
During playback (with the carousel closed)
In this condition, you can see the EXCHANGE indicator is illuminated in green.
1 Press EXCHANGE.
The carousel opens without interrupting playback.
EXCHANGE is briefly shown in the display window.
2 Set, remove or change discs in the accessible disc trays.
3 To access to the other trays, press DISC SKIP.
Each press of the button rotates the carousel, however, the disc tray corresponding to the disc being played back is
never accessible.
4 Press EXCHANGE or 0OPEN/CLOSE.
The carousel closes.
NOTES
Once a disc tray whose status is known by the unit becomes accessible when the carousel opens, the corresponding indicator
lights even if the disc is not set.
When the RESUME function is ON or DISC RESUME and the resume point is memorized, pressing 3 starts playback from
that point instead of the beginning. See page 23.
During playback, the display window shows the title/chapter, group/track, or track number being played.
During DVD VIDEO playback, pressing 3 moves back the playback position 10 seconds before the current position. See page 21
for details.
When a DVD disc is set in the front-left tray, the unit usually starts playback automatically after closing the carousel and reading
the disc contents.

NOTES
During the steps 2 and 3 above, only the 7 , 8 , 4/¢ and 1/¡ buttons are effective for the disc being played back.
The EXCHANGE button does not work during program playback.
