Changing the playback
order
You can play tracks on a DVD AUDIO, SVCD, Video CD or
Audio CD in the desired order or in random order.
By programming tracks, you can play up to 99 tracks in
any order among multiple discs. You may program the
same track more than once.
¶ While stopped
1 Press ON SCREEN twice.
The menu bar appears on the TV screen.
(See page 46 for details about the menu bar.)
2 Use 2/3 to move to .
3 Press ENTER.
The program table appears instead of the menu bar.
The PROGRAM indicator lights in the display
window on the front panel.
4a (for DVD AUDIO)
Specify selections in the desired order by disc,
group and track numbers using the numeric
buttons.
• For each program step, using the numeric
buttons, specify a disc first, then specify a group,
finally, specify a track.
• For example, to specify “track 14 in group 2 of
disc 3,”
Press 3 → 2 → +10 → 4.
4b (for SVCD/Video CD/Audio CD)
Specify selections in the desired order by disc
and track using the numeric buttons.
• For each program step, using the numeric
buttons, specify a disc first, then press ENTER,
finally specify a track.
• For example, to specify “track 14 of disc 2,”
Press 2 → ENTER → +10 → 4.
(You can also use any of the numeric buttons
instead of the ENTER button. The number
entered for the group number is invalid.)
Up to 99 tracks can be programmed. You may
select the same track more than once.
• If you specify a wrong track
Use
5
/
∞
to move to the wrong track, then
press TV/VIDEO - CANCEL. The track is erased
and the subsequent programmed tracks move up.
• To clear the program while programming
Press 7.
You can also clear the program by opening the
carousel or changing the current disc.
To play back in the desired order
