Auto Volume / Clear Voice II / Balance
Auto Volume
Each broadcasting station has its own signal conditions, which
may result in different volume levels for different programs/
channels. This option enables the STB1000 to make automatic
adjustments to maintain a consistent volume level between
channels. It also ensures a consistent volume level whether you
are watching a commercial or a regular TV program.
1. Press MENU on the Installer Remote, and use the arrow
navigation keys to select/highlight the AUDIO menu option.
Then, press ENTER.
2. Use the Up/Down arrows to select Auto Volume, and then
press ENTER.
3. In the Auto Volume pop-up window, use the Up/Down
arrows to select On or Off. Then, press ENTER.
4. Press MENU to return to TV viewing, or press RETURN to
return to the previous menu level.
Clear Voice II
By differentiating the human sound range from others, Clear
Voice improves the sound quality of voices.
1. Press MENU on the Installer Remote, and use the arrow
navigation keys to select/highlight the AUDIO menu option.
Then, press ENTER.
2. Use the Up/Down arrows to select Clear Voice II, and then
press ENTER.
3. In the Clear Voice pop-up window, use the Up/Down arrows
to select On or Off. Then, press ENTER.
4. If setting Clear Voice to “On,” select Level next, and make
appropriate adjustments using the Left/Right arrows.
5. Press MENU to return to TV viewing, or press RETURN to
return to the previous menu level.
Balance
1. Press MENU on the Installer Remote, and use the arrow
navigation keys to select/highlight the AUDIO menu option.
Then, press ENTER.
2. Use the Up/Down arrows to select Balance, and then press
ENTER.
3. In the Balance pop-up window, use the Left/Right arrows to
make the appropriate adjustments. Then, press ENTER.
4. Press MENU to return to TV viewing, or press RETURN to
return to the previous menu level.
