DVI Cable
HDMI/DVI Connections
1. Connect an HDMI/DVI cable between the
HDMI/DVI output on the external equip-
ment and the appropriate HDMI/DVI IN
connector on the STB1000 jack panel.
2. If required, connect an audio cable be-
tween the audio output on the external
equipment and the AUDIO (RGB/DVI)
input jack on the STB1000 jack panel.
Note: A separate audio connection is not
required for HDMI.
3. If not already done, turn ON the STB/dis-
play panel and external equipment.
4. Select the appropriate HDMI/DVI input
source on the STB using the INPUT button
on the Installer Remote or via the STB
Input Menu.
RGB Hookup to PC
1. Connect an RGB cable between the RGB
output connector on the PC and the RGB
(PC) input connector on the STB jack
panel.
2. If PC sound is required, connect the PC
audio output to the AUDIO (RGB/DVI)
input jack on the STB1000 jack panel.
3. If not already done, turn ON the STB/dis-
play panel and external equipment.
4. Select the RGB-PC input source on the
STB using the INPUT button on the
Installer Remote or via the STB Input
Menu.
