Playing discs
Preparation
• Turn on the television and select the appropriate video input
to suit the connections to this unit.
• Turn on this unit.
1 Insert a disc (Ô page 18).
2 Press [q] (PLAY).
Play starts from the most recently recorded
title.
and MP3
Play starts from the beginning of the disc.
n When a menu screen appears on the television
Press [e,r,w,q] to select the item and press [ENTER].
Some items can also be selected using the numbered
buttons.
Press the numbered buttons to select the item.
• To return to the menu screen
• The playing method may differ from the one described
above depending on disc types. Read the disc’s
instructions carefully.
Simply select the recorded programmes (titles) you want to
play from the menu.
1 Press [DIRECT NAVIGATOR].
2Press [e,r,w,q] to select the title and press
[ENTER].
You can also select titles with the numbered buttons.
To show other pages
Press [u] (Previous) or [i] (Next).
To exit the screen
Press [DIRECT NAVIGATOR].
Note
• The unit stops
playing a disc when timer recording starts.
• Press [q] (PLAY) when you wish to start playing the
disc while recording (Ô page 19, “Chasing playback”).
Press [AUDIO].
You can change the audio channel number each time you
press the button. This allows you to change things like the
soundtrack language.
e.g., English is the selected language (Ô page 28,
Soundtrack).
e.g., 5: [0] Ô [5] 15: [1] Ô [5]
Press [DIRECT NAVIGATOR] or [SUB MENU].
Press [DIRECT NAVIGATOR].
Press [RETURN].
