Picture is okay, but there is no
sound.
• Audio output is muted.
• Volume setting is too low.
• Source component is
connected incorrectly or
not at all.
• Press the MUTE button
on the remote control.
• Turn up the volume.
• Check audio connections
to source component.
Image is too bright and/or
lacks definition in the bright
areas of the image.
• Contrast is set too high. • Lower the contrast setting.
Image appears “washed out”
and/or dark areas appear too
bright.
• Brightness is set too high. • Lower the brightness
setting.
Colors in the image are
swapped; for example, reds
appear blue or vice versa.
• Incorrect color space
setting.
• The Pr, Y or Pb outputs
from the source to Input 4
on the CinemaWall are
incorrect.
• Select the correct color
space (refer to Color
Space on page 40).
• Ensure that the YPbPr
(component) source
output connections to
Input 4 are correct (see
Figure 3-7).
RGB-HD images appear
“noisy.”
• Frequency and Phase
settings need adjustment.
• Manually adjust Frequency
and Phase settings, or
perform an Auto Setup
(refer to
Screen on
page 38).
One of the following error
messages appears
on-screen:
•CAUTION
OUT OF RANGE
•CAUTION
UNSUPPORTED SIGNAL
•SIGNAL NG
• The resolution and
frequency of the video
card in the computer are
not compatible with the
CinemaWall.
• Select a compatible
resolution and vertical
frequency (refer to
Computer/Video
Signal Compatibility
on page 70).
The image is too large or too
small.
• Image size needs
adjusting.
• Adjust the image size (refer
to
Screen on page 38).
One of the following error
messages appears
on-screen:
•WARNING
THERMAL ALERT
SHUT DOWN (**)
•WARNING
FAN FAILURE
SHUT DOWN (**)
(“(**)” represents a two-digit
error code.)
• Ambient temperature is
too high.
• Cooling fan has
malfunctioned.
• Turn off main power.
Remove any objects
blocking the cooling vents
on the CinemaWall and/or
clean the vents.
• Immediately turn off
power, remove the power
plug from its outlet, and
consult your Runco dealer.
