NetworkUpdate
You can update and improve the functions of
the player.

1 Select"NetworkUpdate"usingti'/,!,,
andpress ENTER.
The phtyer connects to the network, and
the display asks for confirmation.
2 Select"OK" using<-l-!,, andpress
ENTER.
The player starts downloading, then
updating the software automatically.
When updating finishes, "FINISH"
appears t_r 5 seconds in the fiont panel
display, then the player automatically
turns off.
3 PressI/_ t0 turnontheplayer.
The player starts up with the updated
software.
• The "VUP */9" counter ("*" indicales update
slep) in lhe fi'ont panel display also shows
progrcss of the update.
• You can check the current soflware version by
selecting "System Inli)rnaation" ill the "System
Settiugs" setup (page 49).
• The "Setup" settings remain al)er updating.
• The player inlkmns you of newer soflware version
information when "Sol)ware Updale
Notification" is set Io "On" (default) (page 49).

• Do not disconnect lhe AC power cord or network
cable while downloading or updating sol)ware.
• Any operations, including opening the disc tray,
are nol available while updating.
• Downloading times may dit'li:r depending on the
server provider or line status.
• When ell'or messages ou network connections
appear, check the network connections using
"Network Diagnostic" ol "Inlernet Seltings" in
the "Network Settings" setup (page 50).
