Previewing a Video DVD
You can play back and check a video DVD burned with the DVDirect in the
display window on the top of the unit.
Notes
• Sound cannot be heard when previewing the disc on the DVDirect.
• You cannot output video images to external devices such as TVs.
• You cannot play back a disc recorded on a device other than the DVDirect or with
commercial DVD software.
1 Press the 1 (Power) button to turn on the DVDirect.
The display window turns on.
2 Press < to display the main menu. Press M or m to select [DVD
Video Preview], and then press the (Select) button.
3 Insert a video DVD created with the DVDirect.
After the disc is finished being read, its contents are displayed in the
display window.
When a finalized disc is inserted:
The video titles recorded on the disc appear in the display window.
Press M, m, <, or , to select the title you want to view, and press the
(Select) button. The selected title starts to play. To stop playback, press
the (Stop) button.
