Starting the Software
To run the AVT 200HD Configuration & Control Program:
1. Click on the AVT200HD.exe icon (shown at right)
in the Extron Electronics group or folder in the
Start menu. You can access this icon by selecting
Start > All Programs > Extron Electronics > AVT 200HD > AVT 200HD.
After a few seconds, the Communication Setup window opens, in front of the
control program main window.

2. On the Communication Setup screen, select the tab for the desired connection and
enter the requested information:
• Telnet (shown above): For an IP connection over Telnet, enter the IP address for
your AVT, the Telnet port number (23 is the default), and the password if one has
been set.
NOTE: If your local system administrators have not changed the value, use the
factory-specified default address, 192.168.254.254, in this field.
