VOCAL PARTNER/ONE-TOUCH KARAOKE
VOCAL PARTNER
With this function, when you sing, the recorded sing-
er’s voice cuts out. If you stop singing, the singer’s voice
cuts back in. This is a handy function when practicing
new songs and duets alone.
<With DVDs, LDs (with TOC), and analog audio only LDs >
Press the VOCAL PARTNER button.
To switch OFF, continue pressing the button until the indica-
tor goes out.
<With multiplex karaoke Video CDs, CD-Gs, CDs and externally input tapes>
Press the VOCAL PARTNER button twice.
To switch OFF, continue pressing the button until the indica-
tor goes out.
With some discs and tapes, even when you sing, the recorded sing-
er’s voice volume level does not decrease.
When the indicator above the GUIDE VOCAL volume level knob is
lit, you can turn the knob to adjust guide vocal volume level.
With LDs (multiplex with no TOC), CDs, CD-Gs, externally input
tapes, and Video CDs, the mode changes as follows when you press
the VOCAL PARTNER or ONE-TOUCH KARAOKE buttons.
With non-digital audio sources or LDs with TOC, the mode changes
as follows each time you press the button.
With DVDs, the VOCAL PARTNER function operates with the Guide
vocal selected with One-touch Guide-vocal.
ONE-TOUCH KARAOKE
This lets you use regular DVDs, LDs, CDs, and tapes as
karaoke software by reducing the volume of the re-
corded vocals. You can also use this function when you
want to sing along with only multiplex CDs, CD-Gs,
Video CDs, and externally input tapes.
<With DVDs and LDs>
Press the ONE-TOUCH KARAOKE button.
To switch OFF, continue pressing the button until the indica-
tor goes out.
<With Video CDs, CD-Gs, CDs, and externally input tapes>
Press the ONE-TOUCH KARAOKE button.
Each time you press the button, the mode changes as fol-
lows.
To switch OFF, continue pressing the button until the indica-
tor goes out.
This function may not be very effective with some discs and tapes.
With karaoke discs and tapes (multiplex discs and tapes), when
you can hear the guide vocal from the right channel, press the ONE-
TOUCH KARAOKE button twice. You can cancel the guide vocal.
