You can store settings for DVDs you often watch in
memory. Settings remain in memory even if you remove
the disc from the player, or switch power to the player OFF.
If you load a disc that has its settings memorized, the
Condition indicator lights. When you start playing the disc,
the memorized settings are automatically recalled.
Tips
Settings are stored in memory for use any time.
You can store settings for up to 30 DVDs in memory. If you
memorize settings for more than 30 DVDs, previously memorized
settings are erased in order from the least recently memorized
settings.
To make changes to ASPECT , Cinema mode/Animation mode,
Multi-language subtitles, Multi-language, and POSITION settings,
press
CONDITION
during playback.
This player memorizes multi-language subtitles and multi-
languages as languages not numbers. With DVDs that have
multiple settings for the same language, playback starts from the
first number.
Press
CONDITION
during Play.
When a memorized disc is loaded
“CONDITION” is indicated, and previous settings are displayed.
Erasing memorized settings
Load a memorized disc, and while “CONDITION” is indicated,
press
CLEAR
.
The recorded details for that disc are erased.
“CONDITION”is
indicated in the display.

Notes
If there is a power outage or the power cord is disconnected
while power to the player is ON, memorized settings are erased.
When disconnecting the power cord, be sure to press POWER
button on the main unit and the remote control until “OFF” is no
longer indicated in the display.
This operates only when using the NORMAL MODE.
