digit buttons.

The selected song starts playing from
the beginning, and then the volume level
gradually diminishes after the first
chorus.
¶ When SINGLE PLAY is ON, play pauses.
Even if you continue selecting and playing songs, One chorus con-
tinues operating.

Use this function when enjoying karaoke. This is a
handy function when practicing a lot of songs. You can
take advantage of it with DVDs bearing the
ONE CHORUS mark on their disc jackets. (You can
also enjoy it with some discs not bearing the mark.)

Sing with Professional Karaoke (GUIDE MELODY)
You can switch GUIDE MELODY ON/OFF. With it switched ON,
you can enjoy singing along with a professional singer.
Press the GUIDE MELODY button
¶ When the indicator goes out, GUIDE MELODY is OFF.
¶ When you switch power to the unit ON, GUIDE MELODY
switches ON.
¶ To switch GUIDE MELODY ON after it has been switched OFF,
press the GUIDE MELODY button once more.
¶ With discs that do not feature a separately recorded guide melody,
the GUIDE MELODY cannot be switched ON/OFF.
