PC Connect and Software Updates
(with optional-purchase PC Connect cable only)
Use PC Connect to update the software of the Fishing System control head.

humminbird.com or call 1-800-633-1468.
Supplies: In addition to your Fishing System and personal computer with
Internet access, you will need the PC Connect Cable (AS PC2).
NOTE: See also SD Memory Card Slots: Update Software.
Updating Software requires the following top-level steps:
1. Log on to humminbird.com.
• Register your Fishing System.
• Download HumminbirdPC™ to your computer.
•
Download the latest software update (unit name [version #]) for
your control head.
2. PC Connect Cable: Follow the instructions included with the PC
Connect Cable to connect your Fishing System to your computer.
3. Press and Hold the POWER/LIGHT key to power on your Fishing
System.
4. Open HumminbirdPC™ on your computer. Click on the Control Head
tab.
5. Click the Update Firmware button at the top, left of the
screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to locate the software file
and update the control head. The Fishing System will recognize the
new software and run through a series of prompts to confirm software
installation.
