Controlling an Onkyo AV Receiver
(Amp Mode)
In Amp mode, the remote controller can be used to con-
trol an Onkyo AV receiver connected to the DV-SP1000/
DV-SP1000E via . To select Amp mode, press the
[AMP] MODE button.
A ON button
This button is used to turn the AV receiver on.
B STANDBY button
This button is used to set the AV receiver to
Standby.
C AMP MODE button
This button is used to select the remote controller’s
Amp mode.
D AUDIO SEL button
This button is used to select the audio input signal
format on the AV receiver.

Arrow [ ]/[ ]/[ ]/[ ] & ENTER buttons
The arrow buttons are mainly used to navigate
onscreen menus. The [ENTER] button is used to
confirm choices.
F CH & L MODE [+/–] button
This button is used to select listening modes and
radio presets on the AV receiver.
G RETURN button
This button is used to return to the previously dis-
played menu of the AV receiver’s onscreen setup
menus (OSD).
H DISPLAY button
This button is used to display various information
about the input source currently selected on the AV
receiver.
I DIMMER button
This button is used to adjust the display brightness
on the AV receiver.
J AMP INPUT button
This button is used to select the input source on the
AV receiver.
K Amp Input (DVD, V1, V2, V3) buttons
These buttons are used to select the input source on
the AV receiver: DVD, Video 1, Video 2, or Video 3.
L VOL button
This button is used to set the volume of the AV
receiver.
M SETUP button
This button is used to access the AV receiver’s
onscreen setup menus (OSD).
N MUTING button
This button is used to mute the AV receiver.
