Connecting—Continued
With (Remote Interactive) you can control the
DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E by using the remote control-
ler supplied with your Onkyo -compatible AV
receiver.
Notes:
• Push the plugs in all the way to make a good connec-
tion.
• Use only cables for connections.
• To use you must make an analog audio connec-
tion (RCA) between the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E
and Onkyo AV receiver, even if they are already
connected digitally.
• The DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E has two sockets.
You can connect either one to the Onkyo AV receiver.
The other socket is for connecting additional -
compatible components.
• Connect the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E’s socket
to only Onkyo components. Connecting to other man-
ufacturer’s components may cause them to malfunc-
tion.
You can use the following multiroom kits to control the
DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E when it’s out of range of the
remote controller:
• Multiroom kits such as those made by Niles and Xan-
tech.
Controlling the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E
When It’s Out of Range (not Canadian
model)
If the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E is located in another
room, installed in a cabinet, or is out of range of its
remote controller, you can use a commercially available
IR receiver to pick up the remote controller signals and
feed them to the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E, as shown
below.
