EXTENSION PROCEDURES
If, during installation, you need to extend and access a drive through the front of the LF 6602:
1) Using a T-15 screwdriver, loosen the shipping bracket from the rear of the LF 6602 by
unfastening the four screws that secure the shipping bracket to the LF 6602 chassis (see
figure below).

2) Pull off the cabinet's trim panel (see next figure).
3) Press down on the front release levers of one drive's rack mount slide and pull the drive
out, away from the cabinet.
An interlock is incorporated into the design of the LF 6602's front panel to allow the extension of only one
drive at a time (see the next figure). If the interlock is defeated and if both drives are extended
simultaneously on their rack mount slides, the cabinet will become unbalanced and will topple over.
