DISPLAY MENU
To access the Display menu options, click Display.
OSD (ON-SCREEN DISPLAY)
The DX4104 allows you to configure the following display settings for the unit:
• Language: Sets the unit display language. The default is English (United States). You must log on with administrator-level permission to
change the language.
• Channel Name: When set to ON, displays the channel name.
• Channel Status: When set to ON, displays the channel status icons.
To configure the OSD settings:
1. From the Setup menu, click Display.
2. Click the boxes to enter their settings.
3. Click Close.
4. Click OK.
MAIN MONITOR
You can set the sequence dwell time for the main monitor in increments of 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, or 90 seconds as follows:
1. From the Display menu, click Main Monitor.
2. Click the Dwell Time box, and select the main monitor dwell time.
3. Click Close.
4. Click OK.
SPOT MONITOR
You can configure the following settings for the spot monitor:
• Dwell Time: Sets the channel sequence time in increments of 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, or 90 seconds.
• Event Popup: Displays video for selected events on the spot monitor: OFF, ALARM, MOTION, ALL
• Spot Channel:
– 01 to 04: Displays video from a single channel on the spot monitor.
– SEQUENCE 1: Displays video from the selected
channels in sequence. Users with administrator-level permissions can view video
from covert channels or channels that display Video Loss. Users with power- or normal-level permissions cannot view video from covert
channels or channels that display Video Loss.
– SEQUENCE 2: Displays video from all channels in sequence, except video from covert channels or channels that display Video Loss.
To configure the spot monitor settings:
1. From the Display menu, click Spot Monitor.
2. Click the boxes to enter their settings.
3. Click Close.
4. Click OK.
